Like many watch companies Daniel JeanRichard survived its founder and has several different homes along the way. It started out in La Chaux-de-Fords, moved to Geneva and was then transferred to Le Brassus in the joux Valley where, until the mid-sixties, it continued to manufacture fine mechanical watches. With the advent of quartz the company halted production. At the end of the eighties, it was acquired by Luigi Macaluso, the owner of Girard-Perregaux, who set out to restore the brand to its former eminence. Since 1996, Daniel JeanRichard has confirmed its international vocation through its successful presence on the world's main watch markets

Highly legible hands and Arabic numeral markers feature a special Tritium/SPO system for continuous illumination. Chronograph features 1/10th second, 60-minute and 12-hour registers. A window at the 4 o'clock hour reveals the automatic date calendar. Scratch resistant mineral crystal. Bracelet has a double locking clasp for added security. Screw-in crown and caseback for water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet). Precise Swiss quartz movement. Case is 40mm diameter, 11mm thick.
